Maggie’s Place at Kennybrook Village is a safe environment with secured doors and a fenced courtyard. Our staff members have specific Alzheimer’s and memory care training so your loved will receive the proper care and treatment.
Delicious Dining
Maggie’s Place residents will be offered three nutritious meals every day plus additional snacks throughout the day. If your loved one has diet restrictions, we’ll work with them to ensure they enjoy every meal safely.
Exciting Activities
There are spaces to gather, socialize, and relax with family and friends. It’s also designed to simulate the comfort, sounds, smells, and feeling of home that engage our residents’ long-term memories. Our residents can enjoy our IN2L system and Music and Memory program.
Private Rooms
Your private room will come with a private bathroom, and your monthly rent includes all utilities — including cable!
Who is Maggie?
For 40 years, Maggie Edith Pearl Jensen (1880-1974) cared for people through two hotels, a café, and by renting out sleeping rooms in her Iowa home. At 93-years-old, Maggie moved into an old house that was converted to a nursing home. Unfortunately, this facility was lacking so Maggie’s family was inspired to build newer, more modern accommodations for seniors throughout the Midwest. Maggie’s Place at Kennybrook Village will continue to honor that commitment.
