Mom was a resident of Kennybrook long-term healthcare facility from November of last year until her passing in April 2026. My brothers and I felt the care she received there was outstanding. As she passed through the various phases of Alzheimer’s dementia, she was always treated with utmost respect and kindness by the staff, from the supervising nurse down to the newest Patient assistant. Her dignity seemed to be of great concern to them, as well. Her room, and indeed the entire wing, was always kept clean and smelling as fresh as possible. When her time finally came, and the funeral home came to collect her, available staff formed an honor walk and a very sweet statement was read for her. Absolutely a first class operation from the day we arrived!

Alyssa was incredible today! KennyBrook has all the amenities to continue our loved one to live independently within a community so caring and positive. The apartments are nicely designed, the facilities are extremely clean and well cared for and the ability to accommodate any level of care, so future moves will not be needed, Peace of mind is priceless, thank you Alyssa!

My husband and I toured Kennybrook Village to see about his mother possibly moving into their assisted living community. We were very impressed with their facility. Alyssa, their Director of Marketing, was very friendly and thorough about details of living there. It was obvious that she is liked by residents as we toured and people there appeared content and happy. The rooms were spacious with adequate closet and storage space. Alyssa described numerous activities that their residents can do and be involved in. The price to live there is more reasonable and affordable compared to other retirement facilities we have toured. We are seriously considering Kennybrook for my mother-in-law!

Took a tour last summer and was very impressed. However they would not consider my parent for admission due to their lack of assets even though I would be the responsible party for payment and my assets were more than adequate. We wasted valuable time on your wait list, and you even took our $2500 deposit before you rejected Mom. We will move on to find a facility that will take our money.

I toured KennyBrook this week as a possibility for my parents. I was really impressed with their community. Especially the separate memory care house “Maggie’s Place”. I never would have said “I’d like to live here!” Regarding a memory care facility, but here we are. When the time comes, it brings me peace to know that a place like KennyBrook is there for my parents.

I toured Kennybrook Village today with Alyssa Poland. I am very impressed with the assisted living and all that is included in this program.

I loved the dining area. It was a very welcoming place to enjoy dining with new friends.

It warmed my heart to see the wall of veterans displayed on an entry wall. I’m sure these veterans enjoy sharing their stories.

Toured the facility-Exceeded my expectations! It's way bigger than it looks. It has every level to meet needs. Independent, Assisted, Memory, rehabilitation and long term units. Home-like atmosphere, beautifully decorated, special touches, great activities. As a CNA for 14 years and LPN for 4, what really got my attention was the rehab rooms and long-term care floor. I've been in a-lot of facilities and these units look more like a fancy hotel with all the amenities. Worth the tour!

Kennybrook is a model example of what an assisted-living/long-term care facility should be like. It has been wonderful working with the staff at Kennybrook in order to get my father into assisted living. They have gone the extra mile trying to facilitate his entry into their facility and helping with paperwork and issues with the insurance. The staff is readily available and always cheerful and helpful. If I ever have to go into an assisted-living or long-term care facility to live, this would be the place that I would want to be in.

I called for a tour and was able to get a tour within hours. The facility was very clean. I like their sign in process and temperature check The staff knew every resident and called them by name. Staff was preparing for an activity and were having a great time. It was very up beat and everyone seemed happy.

My parents chose to live at Kennybrook three months ago and love it! The staff are great, food is fresh with diverse options and the facility is beautiful. They feel like they live in an apartment with help if they need it! It was a VERY good choice for our family.

Our mom has been in Cedar Ridge Village for a year and 1/2. This place is wonderful, unfortunately she now requires memory care. We will transitioning to Maggie’s Place in the near future and feel the fit will be perfect .

Very nice facility and staff - prices a little high

Toured on October 17th, 2022, potentially looking for an assisted living for my grandmother (82 years of age). Kennybrook Village went above and beyond my expectations. They have so many activities and benefits for day to day living. The apartments, 1 bedroom, are extremely spacious, clean, and laid out perfectly. Alyssa was a great help answering all my questions and helping me with a plan for my grandmother.

Kennybrook Village personnel were all very kind and friendly. They answered all of my questions. They were very good and loving to the residents that I saw during my tour. I know Kennybrook Village will be the best choice for my sister who is on their waiting list.

While smaller than some other retirement facilities, it feels much more like home. All the amenities are here-beauty salon, fitness room, etc. Also available are all levels of care with no large endowment required. Totally refundable deposit is required to be put on their wait list. Everyone I met was exceptionally warm and friendly.

We have a family member moving to Iowa from another state who needs Assisted Living accommodations. We searched extensively throughout the western portion of the Des Moines metro area and found that without a doubt, that Kennybrook has the best overall service offering. All discussions and dealings we have to this point have been very organized and professional with both Administration and Nursing representatives. I have no doubt our family will have a very good long standing business relationship with Kennybrook Village.

My mother lives at Maggie's Place at Kennybrook Village. Her care has been thoughtful and respectful. We are updated with any developments and communication with all at Kennybrook Village has been great!! It takes trust to place your loved one's care in someone else's hands, and we feel we can trust the people at Maggie's with our mom's care. We are so thankful for everyone there!

I must say Alyssa, our tour guide was awesome. She did a great job communicating with us and answering all our questions. She also did a great following up as well.

Kennybrook is one of the finest Senior Living communities around! The upper management is very caring and involved with residents and the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds is top notch! I had the privilege of operating KB's onsite salon for 4 years before relocating close to my home. I miss the Residents and staff still to this day! This is a place I would highly recommend!
